CAR RENTAL: An International Driver’s License is required. AAA IDP International Driving Permit International Driving Permits may not be issued more than six (6) months in advance of desired effective date. If insurance coverage is provided, it is indicated on your rental confirmation. Additional coverage may be available for purchase from the rental company. Insurance often does not provide coverage for damage to windows, tires, roof, underside or interior of the vehicle.  Please review your car confirmation and call the rental company if you have any questions. 

How Long Does it take to get a Passport: Routinely it takes 10-13 weeks to process a passport, but this does not include the mail time. It may take up to 2 weeks for applications to arrive by mail at a passport agency or center, and up to 2 weeks for you to receive a completed passport in the mail after we print it. Consider the total time it will take to receive your passport when you are booking travel. Passport Renewal: When timing your passport renewal, keep in mind your expiration date, as well as where and when you're traveling. Ideally, you should renew it at least six months before it expires, especially if you have travel coming up to countries that require six months of passport validity. Regardless of entry requirements, it's always best to renew ahead of time to avoid backlogs during busy travel periods and possible delays like those we experienced during the pandemic.
