How it works:

Greece is a wonderful place to fulfill your vacation dreams! With warm sunshine, stunning vistas, marvelous history, and delicious cuisine, Greece will enchant you. When it comes to the Greek islands, few places are able to meet idealized expectations like the island of Mykonos, with its stark white buildings and beautiful beaches on the azure waters of the Aegean Sea. Now one of the more cosmopolitan destinations in Greece, Mykonos also serves as a convenient jumping off point for nearby attractions. The neighboring island of Delos, the alleged birthplace of Artemis and Apollo scratches that mythology itch with its treasure trove of ancient ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, Sacred Way, and Terrace of the Lions.

After your stay in Mykonos, you will sail to the amazing island of Santorini, a dormant volcano offering one of the world’s most breathtaking panoramas. Santorini has been called “The Most Beautiful One” and it’s a clever description of an island with high cliffs set around a volcanic caldera in the azure Aegean Sea. Maybe take a boat tour to experience the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, the hot springs of Palia Kameni, and the ancient lighthouse Akrotiri. Or maybe visit the traditional villages such as Megalochori and Pyrgos.

Of course, no outing would be complete without sampling the Santorinian wine, distinctive for its minerality courtesy of the volcanic soil, sip while touring the wineries where each bottle was made. Then take off to the wondrous city of Athens for the final night in Greece, where you can walk among the ancient ruins as Socrates and Plato did thousands of years ago. Picturesque fishing villages, sparkling blue waters, and ancient sites offer the perfect mix to fall in love with this once in a lifetime experience.
